Dr. Daniel Dohnalek brings more than 40 years of complex operative dentistry and proven practice management experience to Great Lakes Dental Partners.
In 1999 he founded Manus Dental and successfully grew it to 20 dental specialists, working in four practice locations across the Chicagoland area. Dr. Dohnalek continues to practice and perfect the art of dentistry at Manus.
Dr. Dohnalek graduated from Indiana University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and he earned a doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1983. Dr. Dohnalek attended the Oral Cancer Program at Michael Reese Hospital after dental school.
Dr. Dohnalek believes communication and patient education are essential for a positive doctor-patient relationship. He has a special interest in advanced cosmetic dental restorative techniques, including dental implants, crowns, bridges, and porcelain veneers.
A member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society, Dr. Dohnalek also serves as a board member of the American Cancer Society. He resides with his wife and two children on the North Shore. Dr. Dohnalek is an active sports participant and coach who especially enjoys running and golf.
